This is the best time for Floyd vs Sergio!

Seriously theirs nobody else and at least Sergio would be coming off a layoff and disputed win with a ****** up leg so the playing field is now in Floyds hands for the picking. He would have everything to gain in this fight and the middleweight champ would be a very marketable foe.

Floyds is out of contenders until Pac or Bradley stop letting Arum get in the way and Danny needs a welterweight fight first imo and Thurman is 1-3 fights away.

What do say? I dont think Sergio would care for a tune up for his only shot at Floyd.

I don't know how good Sergio will look at 154 to be honest.

maybe the weight drop will help with his knee after rehab. But he based on size and style he is the only one who would push Floyd IMO. He is willing to let his hands go he has speed and ko power which is proven unlike canelos. Not saying he can beat Floyd but hell do much better than anyone 154 and under.

I mean losing on points to Floyd looks 10x better then getting KTFO by a hungry 3G.

Martinez will most likely be looking for a tune up fight to see if he still got it.

I suppose, but I think Sergio would get handled at this point even at 160 probably. Sergio doesn't have a style that ages well to begin with now the injuries and he would surely have to drop a few pound 157 at minimum so tough to see him having much juice under these conditions.

Still it would probably be the time to do it and given Sergio's condition better for him to just go straight for it.

Idk man a tune up is one thing for GGG who young hungry and powerful and not as much worth finacially.

After calling Floyd out for almost 3-4 years I dont think he could turn dowb that payday. Even if he reinjured himself hed be financially set for life.

They could market Pretty Boy P4P Money King vs Sexy Sergio middleweight champ!

Sergio is way past it, can't say that I'd be thrilled about it.
