Good win for Garcia

I'm ready and willing to hear everything Garcia fans have to say. He proved me wrong, proved to be a better boxer than I thought, and earned his win. I didn't score the fight very closely, but it looked like Garcia deserved the victory close but clear. I talked a lot of **** and was dead wrong.

That being said, I'm horribly disappointed in Lucas Matthysse. On the biggest stage he will ever fight on, he absolutely **** the bed and looked to have learned none of the lessons from the Judah and Alexander fights. He also completely lost his composure, and practically gave away 3 rounds when the eye swelled. It was the worst I've ever seen him fight, and under the circumstances I cannot be anything other than disappointed.

I did think Lucas was looking pretty good early. That swelled eye changed absolutely everything. All of Lucas' composure and technique, both on offense and defense, went completely out the window after that.

I actually thought that Matthysse would KO García(after the 8th) & García not only proved to take punishment, but almost stopped Matthysse in the late rounds.. Matthysse was holding back back too much on his punches & was not letting them go, especially after his eye was swollen(almost shut) & García was scoring nicely even after he himself was
getting tagged..

You tried to prove not only to me but others posters how dominant Matthysse would be including comparing the Judah fight to Garcia's fight with Judah and trying to say what he (Matthysse) would do in a rematch against Judah. Whatever man.... like I said. No cold war or bitter words from me. Your day came and I'm satisfied.

Lol, this is my point... We established that u felt Garcia would win, I never said you didn't... Why are you bringing it up? Why r u using it as evidence?

You're like one of those Cold-Reading psychics... U use vague obvious descriptions to as evidence to "prove" what u got

"Garcia would win, he'll finish the fight on his feet, he'll take Matthysse's shots" Those are all basically the same thing, how is he gonna win the fight if he doesn't take Matthysse's shots? How is he gonna win the fight if he doesn't finish on his feet? That's your argument... That's my point

And I compared the Judah performances becuz they're actually was significant points to be made using them... Matthysse boxed Judah to a stand still, proving he has boxing skills and isn't just a brawler (Matthysse boxed very well early)... Garcia got hurt by Judah late, the second time in his career it happened, proving he fades late in fights (happened in this fight which is why he started running and holding so much)... All this stuff I said, its still there

Says the guy who picked Matthysse to win. Not me because I knew but yeah, I do agree that anyone can make a vague guess and YOU guessed WRONG.

I did... But at least I gave good arguments as to why I came to that came to that conclusion... U just guessed "I pick Garcia, he'll finish the fight on his feet and win" as oppose to finishing the fight on your back and winning i guess
