It was really close. Tony Weeks is usually decent but wasn't on his game today. The knockdown was the difference. I have never seen a knockdown like that with a fighter being caught in the ropes. Anybody ever see anything like that before? I'm racking my brain and I can't think of anything.

did you not read my post? so you are ok with fighters committing fouls and then when the fouled fighter falls into the ropes they can knock them down? why is that ok? if garcia landed a low blow and doubled matthysse over in pain then knocked him down with a left hook you would be ok with that? its the same situation. the ref was sh-it and let garcia foul all over the place and you are ok with that. why? do you just hate any rules? are you an anarchist?

I think the thing is that Lucas Matthysse fans had him winning in such a dominant fashion that it is only right for them to get all the back lash coming their way. They gave Garcia no props and no chance and Matthysse was the one who got his face smashed up and dropped.

Matthysse is a brutal puncher and most expected Garcia to get annihilated, but he didn't, did he. Danny stood up to everything and what he fired back was good enough to win the war. Lucas comes out with plenty of credit and respect and it's just sad that some don't want to show Danny Garcia the same. He earned it.

the irony of that excuse is, i remember all those jokes about the testing, about team garcia supposedly wanting to get mathysse out of argentina, about team garcia setting up all of these "excuses" about how "next, we'll hear that they want mathysse to fight with one arm" maybe, if there is a next time, team mathysse will try to set a stipulation that danny doesn't get to punch matts in the face so that his face doesn't swell up. and all this bull**** about "la maquina" rolling over danny.
