Danny won the fight clearly. No excuses. I really didn't think he had that in him, but he is a true champion. Shame he's got a **** for a dad.

Great move from Angel to wake up Danny because it was looking like Danny was startin to get bullied a tad.

I'd love a rematch with both knowing they can take each others power now they both were so tense early. Unless Danny fights Floyd who else do they fight? Theyre head and shoulders above the rest of the class imo in terms of heart, power and chin. Jesus these guys took nuclear bombs, especially some of those left hooks Danny took.

There were headbuts galore cant believe no one got cut. Danny landed a few low blows but they werent intentional so thats no excuse as Matthysse raked the back of the head a few times and back (coincidentally when Lucas went down it seemed the hit to the back of the neck head was that rattled him). Both guys were there to kill I loved how tense the first round was its been a while.

Neither beats Floyd though but can Floyd take those bombs? Both kill Broner...

Great fight, I was rooting for Mattysse and he was really pouring it on Garcia, then that eye problem together with relentless low blows from Garcia swung the fight, Mathysse had a resurgence again in the championship rounds but constant holding, spoiling and low blows saw out the fight, And that ''knock down'' was definitely not a knock down in any way, shape or form.

Despite the negatives Garcia showed signs of a class but there are still a lot of un answered questions surrounding him, I don't think he takes a shot to well, he can be hurt and he fades down the stretch I feel like he got away with one tonight everything kind of fell in his favour and the referee could of been better.

Lucas only won 4 rounds.....................I guess it really wasn't a 50/50 fight lmfao....hopefully the hype train is derailed. Great fight. Danny is the real deal, I told you!

I just hope people don't use Matthyse's eye as an excuse, there are ZERO lucky punches in boxing and that swelling was caused by repeated left hooks. It greatly affected Matthyse, however it wasn't luck that caused the swelling.

BTW, Lucas wasn't exposed and isn't a hypejob. He was simply in there with a fighter that was better than most people knew.
