But of course he is. On top of beasting every 200+ pound, 6foot + Heavyweight around, he would humiliate Floyd and treat him like a child in that ring. Just in order for this 'special attraction' to be competitive, Floyd would have to join forces with Manny in a handicap match, then I would give them the edge.

But lets not hijack the thread. There was a bigger point being made here, and it's that it isn't all about "watching the best do his work". There are other subjective factors involved and they're in the eye of the beholder.

running and pot shotting? i dont recall canelo pot shotting but i do recall him moving backwards from trout many times throughout the fight not throwing any punches weaving along the ropes, i wont call it running because its not but floyd does very similar things and you call it running ?

That brings me to the next big thing Canelo Alvarez, he is a good looking guy and fights with real ferocity. The best thing for boxing is getting rid of boring old ugly boy Floyd and his shite pitty pat style that is more sleep inducing than an ambien.

Boxing needs more fighters that have high skll sets like Floyd, Danny and Rigo. Valdez, mikey garcia come to mind. Any sport is better when the participants are highly skilled, even the most athletic participants.

Boxing doesn't need ex football and basketball players. Or ex kickboxers or MMA phags. We just need guys like Nonito, for example, to learn basic skills like a jab and cutting off the ring. we need broner to learn basic defense.

More skills, less overhyped power guys who can only defeat one type of opponent in one way.

I doubt it. He's really not that special. His lackluster performance in his last fight blew his chances of ever becoming the next PPV star. I really don't know what his team were thinking to come up with a game plan that ******. The only time he managed to connect was when he was chasing Floyd, which he should have done in the very beginning.

Anyone can easily see why Floyd pulled a fake retirement when WW was brewing with power. Margarito and Williams would have brutalized Floyd. Even a non-prime Cotto was able to draw blood.
