You can figure it would really be half that... as far as what he would pocket after paying his team, taxes, etc. But if he holds off and goes into the fight as a champ who just beat Bika, he would naturally make more. And Ward does need to get busy sooner than later. So Ward needs to back off on the demands and give a little.

While I think Ward is in the driver's seat and rightfully so, the fact that Rodriguez so blatantly demands more money should drive home the fact that Ward's not really a draw.

The offer made is more than enough for what Rodriguez has achieved and brings to the table himself.

The only arguement he could make for himself is if he had a belt, but as of now he doesn't.

It's his choice of turning down a career high pay day, and a shot at the best. If he doesn't want to prove himself on the big stage right now, then he shouldn't be talking so much.

He has an easier option with Bika though. He's WBC mandatory, and that belt could open doors and only then could he have a valid arguement to his share of the dollar.

I think that's kinda what it is; 'cos he got a ****** level payday for the super 4 he thinks he's actually worth that much in the real world. OK, he's a decent fighter, but just ain't proved himself at top level.
