If Canelo comes in over the catch weight limit does the fight still happen?

Given Canelo has a history of missing weight, and the importance of weight to this fight (hence the catch weight) I would imagine there are huge financial penalties per pound over the weight missed (e.g 40pc of Canelo's purse per pound).

Yeah Floyd will still fight, he is not going to give up the payday but he will take alot of money off of Canelo for being over weight.

152 is just the limit in the contract, so there is probably a huge fine to pay per the contract but it would likely go on. The contract probably isnt public so unless they tell us we wont know what it is. If he comes in over 154 then the commission gets involved.

Yes, though Floyd will raise hell.

I think Floyd is pretty concious of doing anything hypocritical, and we all remember the Marquez weigh in.

Then again, he's also fighting at 152, so I don't know how messed up he is about contradicting himself.
