Nope, Floyd would walk, the catchweight is there for a reason.

i'm sure they've gone over all of the possible scenarios in the contract. my guess will be that canelo makes weight. if he doesn't expect him to get fined hundreds of thousands, if not low millions.

there's just no way the fight doesn't come off. it would KILL boxing. we'd be the laughing stock of sport for the rest of the year.
As I said to my boy dc3383--F-CK YOU. lol. Hope everyone who could go has a great time. Let's go MOney May!!!

But yes the fight will still go on but the titles would only be on the line for Floyd. If Canelo wins the belts become vacant.
I'm not sure this is right as he will still be under the proper weight limit, the catchweight is a contracted agreement between canelo and floyd separate from the titles, as long as he is under 154 they should still be on the line.

Does anybody actually know what the fine is ... forgetting the silly talk about the fight being cancelled. i've heard a million per pound a few times but is it even more than that? If it's a million per pound I could see him coming in at 153

Seriously doubt that would happen considering he fights at 154

so let me get this straight if canelo comes in at 154 his 154 pound title would be vacated and floyds 154 title wouldn't be on the line cause canelo would come in at the super welterweight limit fighting for the super welterweight titles. this is why mayweather will retire rich but his legacy wont be worth **** and 5 years after he retires his bank account wont be worth **** either

I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd walked at all.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Floyd said he'd rather have Canelo lose the weight instead of taking the extra money, only to turn around(after Canelo's trying) to say he'll accept the fine after all

My guess is a Hefty fine and then a restriction would be put on re hydration limit. I've seen that before so that would hurt canelo even more. Not happening

You guys really think Floyd would walk? C'mon now. All that money gone all the fans let down. He'd still beat canelo
