Disagree Hatton came to win and so did Oscar.. Those two probably gave Floyd his toughest fights in semi recent history outside of a faded Cotto.

I know what fighting tall is dumb@ss... But there's fighting tall, i.e. the Klitschko's, European style, and "fighting taller than you are" which you stated, which is technically impossible!!

Btw Mayweather doesn't fight that tall, he constantly changes his rhythm and movement, he uses his long arms to throw the hook around the guard that's why he could nail Ortiz Cotto and Guerrero, as for you saying that the reason they couldn't nail him in range was because he fights tall!? Are you kidding me? If it was that simple guys would have bum rushed him!

Here is Canelo next to the clearly (your words) taller than Floyd, Shane Mosley. Both in sneakers and look about even:

Mosley is a solid 5'9 and at one point even dared to list himself as 5'10 on ESPN.

Anyway, Showtime unlike HBO, has a habit of revealing their real height. They knocked Jermain Taylor down from 6'1 to 5'11 when he fought Froch. As I already mentioned, they revised Allan Green's 6'3 to 6'1. HBO doesn't do this and just goes by the already recorded statistics.

Expect Shotime to deliver again and reveal their true heights without any rounding up.

Allen Green tried to list himself as 6'3 and Shotime revised it back down to 6'1. Those are the exceptions.

Yup and I'm interested to see If Showtime will adjust Canelo's height. Before the Cotto weigh in he was listed 5'8 and on fight night Showtime Tale of the tape had Cotto 5'7 Broner was also listed 5'7 or 5'8 in the past an Showtime had him 5'6 his last fight..

Ok but If he's using his long arms and fighting on his toes it's called fighting tall.. he doesn't do it every fight cuz he's usually taller then his opponents but I assume he will be on his toes vs Canelo. I just think he happens to be a tad bit taller then Canelo regardless..

Haha! They look really midgetized here. Pacquiao-esque.

In all honesty, it's Canelo's top of the head that puts him over the top.
