Floyd beat up on Arturo Gatti... one dimensional, lead with your chin, cut and bleed like a stuck pig... He struggled for 11 rounds with a smaller Ricky Hatton. He outweighed Juan Manuel Marquez by 25lbs. Floyd was nearly knocked out by Zab Judah, by a 40 year old Shane Mosley.... Floyd has been a big fraud, and you guys all funded that business.
So I guess he should go back in time with his time machine so he could fight in the 80's? He almost got KO'd by Judah? You mean the fight where his glove barely touched the ground? It was a knock down but damn almost a KO is taking it a bit far. If Shane was 40 when Floyd beat him, well damn how old was he when Canelo went the distance with him?

So your saying Floyd came to the ring at 172 pounds for the Marquez fight but is walking around at 150 for the Canelo fight? Lol cmon man

Do you Floyd haters have anything better to do than to click EVERY Floyd headline and REPEAT the same garbage over and over? Its one thing to be a fan of someone and interested in news about them, but I find very sick and sad to see someone constantly involved someway in something dealing with someone they claim to "hate". Real sad. I don't remember the last time I read or discussed anything about a fighter or entertainer I do not find entertaining or respected. I see the headline and I skip it. They on tv I skip the channel. They on the radio I turn the station. You have the option yet you still choose to join in every chance you get. I sometimes wonder damn what lives these guys/girls have? Sad. That doesn't go for just the Floyd haters that goes for anyone who lives like that.

Can't compare boxers from different eras. In his era,no one has done it better or made the amount of money he has. Let's remember this is a job and he's getting PAID. Stop the hating folks.

How did he struggle for 11 rounds with Hatton yet knock him out in 10?

Genaro was a legit threat and young floyd completely dominated him. broner & canelo didn't beat that type of fighter to get their belts. these new cats are getting big fights without earning the stripes. i give danny credit for fighting the best out there in his weight class even if he gets his ass beat. if he pulled off the hail mary and won his stock would skyrocket through the roof. canelo got to this megafight with the trout fight but floyd had one hell of a resume before he got his big shot against oscar. what a different boxing world it is today from when floyd rose to the top. broner is gonna get a PPV and he still has yet to hang a true signature win (don't mention Demarco to me).
                  Very true, and well put.

What's more, the open score cards in the Trout fight clearly influenced the bout, I think Canelo has still a lot to prove. He got a close decision against Trout and defeated Matthew Hatton for his other belt.

I do not deny that Floyd likes to pick his opponents, but he does it after years of success. Canelo , Broner, Chavez jr etc. all got handed belts without really deserving them.

I'm a Floyd fan but I'm' a' call it as I see it. He is an ATG but Leonard, Robinson, JCC and Duran, even Pernell Whittaker had goods to beat him, but different eras. Like De La Hoya, Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Muhammad Ali and Jack Dempsey though he has continually made cash cow money, whilst being relatively untested. Corrales was his Liston and he destroyed him, Judah was supposed to be a luminary but fell short, Oscar, prime Oscar may have got the win but look at Oscar's losses, Trinidad, Mosley x 2, Hopkins and Pacquiao and you could say Oscar struggled against those he simply couldn'y bully and became inneffective. Only fighter to compare to Floyd in style and speed in the modern day is RJJ yet he never had Floyd's chin or defence and even RJJ took a soft option against Ruiz. Floyd lays somewhat outside of boxing tradionalism to this degree. He walks around max around 150 and even SRR failed atLt Heavyweight attempt. Apart from that through Oscar and his Mayweather persona he has milked the game. anelo stands a chance at the Cashcow, however even if he beats Floyd he won't be as credit worthy until he can go up at least 1 weight class and prove himself as a P4P champ.
