that genaro hernandez win was impressive as hell. hernandez was a bad mofo who had been in with nelson & de la hoya. it would be sort of like if danny just beat the living hell out of lucas (which will not happen). fighters just don't come along and win their first belt like that anymore. Genaro was a legit threat and young floyd completely dominated him. broner & canelo didn't beat that type of fighter to get their belts. these new cats are getting big fights without earning the stripes. i give danny credit for fighting the best out there in his weight class even if he gets his ass beat. if he pulled off the hail mary and won his stock would skyrocket through the roof. canelo got to this megafight with the trout fight but floyd had one hell of a resume before he got his big shot against oscar. what a different boxing world it is today from when floyd rose to the top. broner is gonna get a PPV and he still has yet to hang a true signature win (don't mention Demarco to me).

I dont like Floyd because he earns more money than anyone in the world deserves. And he acts like a lil prick. But i wont denie that hes an faboulous boxer and and he has beaten some verry good fighters down the line. Of course there were also some guys who were no match for him but 44 have tried and 44 have failed and like i said there were a few VERRY good ones involved. I just dont like him as a person. But i cant wait to see him fighting Alvarez.

Corralles, Hernadez.... Floyd talks about those guys like they were Roberto Duran as a Lightweight, like they were young Alexis Arguello's or Salvador Sanchez'.... give me a break... Floyd can't keep his stories straight.... Floyd couldn't carry Sanchez, Arguello, or Duran's jockstrap. Floyd beat up on Arturo Gatti... one dimensional, lead with your chin, cut and bleed like a stuck pig... He struggled for 11 rounds with a smaller Ricky Hatton. He outweighed Juan Manuel Marquez by 25lbs. Floyd was nearly knocked out by Zab Judah, by a 40 year old Shane Mosley.... Floyd has been a big fraud, and you guys all funded that business.

Corrales and Hernandez, though their not the "celebrities" that Duran, Sanchez and Arguello are, they reigned supreme in their divisions and were the best during "THEIR TIME". We'll never know how Mayweather would do against those fighters, as they fought in different eras. Floyd did beat up Gatti, so did Ward, Robinson, De La Hoya and a few others, what's your point? He "struggled" with Hatton? He didn't, but you make it sound like a bad thing. Kostya Tszyu stuggled with Hatton, but not Floyd. You look at Floyd and Tszyu after the Hatton fights and you tell me what struggled looks like. He almost KO'd by Judah? At what point of the fight? Are you referring the "ONE" straight left that Judah landed in the fourth round? And to give facts to your Shane Mosley comment, Alvarez fought the "40" year old Shane, and Mayweather fought the "38" year old version. I'd like to also mention that Alvarez fought Shane after three consecutive horrible performances. It's ok for Alvarez to fight Shane, but not Floyd? I get it!!! Canelo fought Matthew Hatton for the WBC LMW title. What was Hatton ranked at LMW? I'll wait on that one. He defended his titles against, Ryan Rhodes, Alfonso Gomez, Kermit Cintron, Josesito Lopez and Shane Mosley in that order. How many of them were natural LMW? I'll wait on that one too. How many of them were ranked? Hmmm???? Josesitop Lopez was a LWW! Then he fought Trout, whose greatest win was against Miguel Cotto, a legit win! And it could be argued that the fight with Trout could have been called a draw had it not been in Texas.
