The timing is a little weird.

But I wouldn't wish addiction on anyone.

I maybe cynical but I think he's doing this to promote the fight. Just like he started talking about his addiction in the build up to previous fights. Infact I remember he went on a string of shows admitting that it was him in the fishnet photos right before another fight. I dont remember if it was the Guerrero or Ortiz fight but he's been doing this for a while.

It's life and death when addiction has you on the edge.
When you bottom out nothing matters except getting to a safe place
like a recovery center. Been there Good luck Oscar wish you well.

Sorry, but this seems ridiculous with the timing. DLH is always looking for the attention. With promotion for the actual fighters fighting, it's not exactly working for anywhere but boxing sites. It's not like espn has it on the front page.

              What?

ESPN is having multi platform coverage for this fight.

SportsCenter & ESPN Deportes in Las Vegas ESPN will present multi-platform pre- and post-fight coverage of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Saul “Canelo” Alvarez unification fight for the WBC and WBA Junior Middleweight titles scheduled for Saturday, September 14, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. ESPN Deportes and SportsCenter will be on …

And you must have missed all the commercials for it during the NFL games on Sunday.

I dunno, he's had these addiction issues for years... he couldn't keep it in check for a few more days to standby his fighter in the hour of need? I guess not, which just makes it that much sadder.
