I'm sure you noticed the high number of threads like this where we either relitigate floyd v castillo, complain about hypocricy, rank floyd's atg status, pretend ODH won, pretend cotto fight was close, say floyd never fought anyone, on top of the usual stuff we get when floyd fights.

This thread isnt relitigating the fight itself, but asking when it comes to trash talk, and getting under an opponents skin, why dont his opponents bring up the fact so many people believe he lost that fight.

This is regarding how none of Floyd's opponents to my understanding have mentioned it whether it be in trash talk or from the heart that he should have a loss for that fight.

Considering how much Floyd brings up his perfect record over and over during 24/7, All Access, press conferences and so forth it's surprising none of his opponents have used that fight as ammunition against him.

Inb4 it's because every single opponent knew Floyd won (even if you believed that, it's still good ammunition against him for some trash talk or to get under his skin.

      Thoughts?

Just to annoy him. And make him look foolish. It wouldnt seriously undermine the enormity of the upset win.

Poster already has his answer why

it was a close fight (personally thought castillo one by a round) that went in mayweather's favor.

There was an immediate rematch where floyd clearly won, so there's no real discussion outside of those boundaries

the only conclusion you can make from that fight is that its not absolutely out of the realm of possibility that floyd mayweather is capable of losing a fight.

Reading through the post it seems most people quite simply can't understand what they have read in my first post.

It's sad to say that perhaps a Justin Bieber forum may have higher IQ per user than this forum by the looks of things.
