Floyd dominated Guerrero no doubt but he did was supposed to do against an overmatched opponent, I made a thread about the fight and he did show twitchyness in that fight and is getting taken to places he's not used to. Not much changed from the Cotto fight Floyd was just a class above Guerrero.

Seriously, get it together BoxingScene... Canelo KO'd Baldomir in Sept of 2010... Floyds only fight that Year was against Mosley in May.... Canelo beat Alfonso Gomez on the Ortiz Card, Not Baldomir...Geez

But Canelo has that Pacman speed. Its just that Pac throws so many that it makes his speed stand out. With Canelo he is so big and bulky, people constantly put him in a catagory of a slow, bulky, mexican brawler like Ortiz. Alvarez is fast as HELL, and he throws mortal combat punches. Few can pay attention to detail, but I know boxing.

he'll look sluggish and won't ever get any rhythm going
his hands and feet will both go in slow motion compared to Floyd
expect Alvarez to have a much lower output vs Floyd than Guerrero did
The hand speed of Canelo makes Guerrero look really slow , the short distance Canelo punches at is dangerous and he punches straight fast combinations where Robert punches long and wide single shots , the size will be a problem for Floyd as in Canelos durability , I don't think Floyd can hurt him until very late in the fight , the strength will see Canelo trying to walk him down .

I think Canelo would stop Guerrero and is a way more dangerous fight , Floyd could possibly get beat in this where no way could Robert beat him .

All you pundits say Floyd had an easy fight against Guerrero but none of you guys were in the ring with Ghost. Floyd was on his bike and never went toe to toe with Ghost like he did against Oscar and Cotto....it was a lot harder fight than it seemed believe that. I don't hear Floyd saying it was easy at all.

Unless Canelo lands a big punch, he's going to get out boxed.

To Guerrero's credit, Ghost did better then anyone Floyd has ever faced except for Oscar and Castillo. Those two were the only other fighters that did better on the score cards, and that's a cold hard fact.

You do realize Baldomir had 9 losses prior to fightin Floyd right? Lets not act like Baldomir was some world beater When he fought Floyd!

Cotto fought Floyd better than Guerrero did. Cotto landed more cleaner punches and bruised up Floyd's face a bit. Guerrero landed a few solid body punches in spurts, but he couldn't quite landed as accurately as Cotto did. He landed a few rabbit punches here and there, but Floyd was in complete control of the fight and only rode his bike after he hurts his hand in round 8.
