And until someone knocks Mayweather off of his perch; both in the ring and at the box office, when it comes to Boxing, he is more important than everyone else, including Oscar...and Oscar knows this. Floyd has been under Oscars skin since their fight back in 2007, and he had to not only endure the embarrassment of that defeat, but also have to kiss Floyd's ass in all of these promotions since, and watch Floyd take out all of his top prospects to boot.

    lol...I think it's hilarious.
And you believe that? Yea, he's got the leader of the free world on his speed dial.

He didn't say that about *****. Man you guys have to stop posting your interpretations of things. If you don't like floyd cool, but dont purposely misquote him to add substance to your opinion when there is none. Your not that kind of poster.

Floyd and ODH don't like one another. ODH thinks floyd is an ungreatful punk and Floyd thinks ODH is a fake ass *****. Floyd wants ODH's popularity and ODH wants floyd's in ring abilities. Floyd is the far better fighter and ODH is a gold medalist who is beloved by his fans.

The fact is they are better together than apart.

Floyd Mayweather proved yet again to be master of the sound bite. On an HBO special Saturday night, he sat down and talked with author-professor Michael Eric Dyson, and Dyson asked him about the President, and if he thinks Mr ***** has the swag to get into the ring with the pugilist.

"People want to know how much power Floyd Mayweather got," Mayweather answered. "I can guarantee you this. I show you how much power I got, if I was to fight Manny Pacquiao, I'd let Barack ***** walk me to the ring holding my belt. Can I make it happen, absolutely."

Come on cuauhtemoc, you really think he was serious? Honestly there is no sane person who took this seriously. You printed the whole blog post except the last line:

The undisputed pound for pound champion of the sweet soundbite, Floyd Mayweather.

Even the writer knows he isn't being serious. Cmon man!

Do I believe Floyd when he says ***** told him that? Yes. Do I also believe ***** was saying it in jest? Yes. ***** is a big sports fan and I would not be surprised if they've had communication at some point. This isn't the main point though; the main point is that Floyd has a reason to have a massive ego and until someone can do something about it, he'll continue to possess and flaunt it.

Oscar is 0-6 against Floyd when you include his stable, and watching Oscar in the backdrop of Floyd's fights; especially when Floyd starts taking over the fight, is priceless.

More than likely, we'll be watching that same look of disappointment come Saturday night and we'll also watch Floyd's legacy and ego grow even more afterwards. And guess what?

There aint a gawdamn thing you or Oscar can do about it but sit back and give the man his due. You're watching a legend do his thing, bro...and his "persona and ego" is part of the legend.

Well, you are making an assumption that he wasn't serious and in the context of which I read it and watching the interview I disagree with you.

I think Floyd really believes that, he is a megalomaniac, that's well known. He's a great fighter, one of the best I have ever seen but he is delusional in many aspects of his life.

You've sunk to a very low level with this. I know you are a big ODH fan and don't like the way floyd belittles him and shows him little to no respect. But no sane person thinks floyd was serious here.

You don't do this kind of crap but, hey, its fight week and yet another ODH fighter could lose to floyd. SO I guess you just have hurt feelings and don't know how to deal with them.

I'm not trying to swing low..hahah

I'm really not, I have said on record many times I think Mayweather is one of the greatest fighters I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. I just thought the whole thing was ridiculous. He's an ego maniac and I could care less what he says about Oscar.

So meeting the president means you are now his friend? LOl man you are gullible. Many people meet the president and Floyd will NEVER have ***** in his corner, a president would never lower himself to hold anything for anyone.

He is the president of the most powerful country in the world and the last thing he cares about is being cool with Floyd Mayweather. I can see it now, ***** will be Broners hype man as he raps while Floyd walks to the ring......

                    Grow up.

we can agree floyd is an egomaniac.

FWIW, you forget that candidate ***** reached out to many black athletes and entetainers when he was raising money for his presidential campaigns. I dont think he and floyd are friends in the classic sense (imagine floyd at Harvard or ***** at a ****** strip club), but floyd is a multi millionaire high profile african american who is managed by Al Haymon who may or may not be a "bundler"
for *****. I'm sure ***** reached out to him for some campaign financing.
