Chavez was undefeated at almost 90 fights and he had defended his titles i believe like 37 times , how about Finito Lopez ? he retired undefeated ..... Sugar Ray leonard , sugar Ray Robinson. wow iof course i studied each and every single one of them and as far as i remember watching from the Era of the Ray leonard ,Duran, Hearns ,hangler and even watching the fight were Leonard beat the living ass of Mayweather sr too lol ; FYI I a former amateur fighter and been in national and international tournaments with a very decent record of 89-06 thank you, my brother is a former#2 IBF contender and now a Boxing trainer as well as my father was , so yes i know about boxing ; i drink, eat and sleep boxing

Technically, Canelo IS Oscars fighter so of course he's going to root for him and want him to win. Why you knuckleheads don't see this is hilarious.

What he said was: "***** said if Pacquiao and I fight, he'd walk me to the ring and carry my belts." - and I wouldn't be surprised if that is true given the nature of interest everyone had in trying to get that fight made.

And until someone knocks Mayweather off of his perch; both in the ring and at the box office, when it comes to Boxing, he is more important than everyone else, including Oscar...and Oscar knows this. Floyd has been under Oscars skin since their fight back in 2007, and he had to not only endure the embarrassment of that defeat, but also have to kiss Floyd's ass in all of these promotions since, and watch Floyd take out all of his top prospects to boot.

Rumors are that the main reason that Floyd came back to fight JMM in 2009 was because Oscar had to give him a huge advance to pay off his tax debt to keep him out of jail.
Willie, Wesley Snipes, Nicholas cage and a lot of others have all done time for not paying their taxes and Floyd owed more than all of them.
Oscar has always held that over Floyd's head.
And this business about Floyd thinking he's richer than Oscar is nonsense. When he retired in 2007 Forbes reported he had liquid assets of about $175 million. That's not including his investment portfolio. He still has international endorsements and makes a ton off of Golden Boy especially after the deal they made off Showtime.
