I replied to a poster that said the shot Garcia caught Khan with was lucky which is insane. That counter left hook was deliberate & well thrown. Garcia's left hook could ice anyone in his division. It also looked very similar to Donaire's KO of Montiel. Both from wide right hands by the opposing fighter. Could catch:

I don't know if backing up from Matthysse is a good strategy for Garcia. Danny is at his most vulnerable when he is backing up. When he did it against Zab Judah he was getting nailed hard with punches. I think he would fare better if he imposes his size on Matthysee, by getting his punches off first and walking him down; Since he is the stronger and naturally larger of the two.
