2012 “Trainer of the Year” Robert Garcia will meet with former WBO/Ring Magazine super bantamweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire in Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday and work on their game-plan for the rematch with Vic Drachinyan set for November 9 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Donaire who has been jogging and doing some light training in the gym has been concentrating so far on bringing his weight down from a 145 pounds a few weeks ago.
Donaire struggled to make the super bantamweight limit in his last couple of fights and decided to move up to featherweight after his close friend and trainer Garcia’s brother Mikey Garcia relinquished his 126 pound WBO belt and moved up to junior lightweight. [Click Here To Read More]
