i always thought the mexican audience was one you could bank on for all the huge fights.

Canelo brings a much more rabid Mexican audience. He brings the ladies and kids; not just the hardcore fight fans. Mix that with the #1 PPV star and Villian character that has never been beaten, and it sets up pretty nicely. Only Oscar and Pac vs Floyd could bring a larger audience, imo. The whites, blacks, mexicans, and asians will have an interest in this fight. Unless Pac and May get it on, this might be Boxing's last shot at 2 million for quite a while, if not ever.
