GGG KO's him now, Sergio gets beat at any venue
if he'll fight GGG, go ahead and do it in Argentina
but Murray deserves a rematch if he doesn't take a loss
and it would need to be somewhere else, he got robbed
Barker already got KO'd by Sergio, so Geale is an ok choice
really don't want any non puncher going to Sergio's turf though
he doesn't deserve anymore favors, time for him to go

just because he had 1 bad fight (in my card he won by 1 point), with a knee that was still injured, and you are telling him it`s time to go???

      DAMN YOU`RE A HATER!!!!!

I wonder what you think about pacquiao, who lost 3 times in 4 fights against marquez and got knocked the **** out less than a year ago....or cotto, who lost every big fight in his career.....

Martinez has pretty much spent the prime years of his career on the road bucking the odds and I can remember him turning up in the UK and beating fancied guys like Richard Williams (twice) and Adrian Stone over a decade ago...

.....so if ever a guy deserves the odd, well-paid stadium fight back in Gaucho Land it is almost certainly Sergio. He's paid his dues in America, Spain and even Belfast and Bristol!

Murray almost caught him out and deserves the rematch but I think Murray will chase the Barker fight now.

Best fight out there (for the fan) is to see whether Chavez has got the bottle to go down to Buenos Aires and try and over-turn that defeat and win a big fight on the road. Over to you Junior.

Makes sense after that awful performance, he'd want to redeem himself and put on a good show for the home crowd!

you're calling someone else a hater but claim Cotto lost every big fight in his career. Did you see his win vs Mosely or Judah or Maliganggi.
He lost his 2 biggest fights - May and Pac. Other than that Trout is his only other legit loss and we can acknowledge he's past his prime now.

and since Cotto was brought up - how bout Martinez v. Cotto at 157?

I think Martinez could fight Sergio Mora and it would be a tuneup for Martinez but I think fans wouldn't be too upset because he is decent.

Big fan of Martinez, but his next fight worries me. He looked bad against Murray.

Sergio has just been interviewed on TV (TyC Sports) and he said now that Cotto is not going to come to Argentina. He wants to fight in Argentina in May 2014 anyway, at a big arena and against an important opponent (not a tune up), but it has to be analyzed. If he doesn't fight in May in Argentina, the place will be Las Vegas or the Madison Square Garden.
