I've heard both Martinez and Lewkowics mention a Barker rematch as a possibility for his return. Zero mention of Geale in all the interviews after the Geale-Barker fight. I think Geale is out of the sweepstakes.

I haven't heard them utter Rubio at all, but I guess it's possible since he's the mandatory. Problem is I don't think it's a fight HBO will buy.

Martinez is not relevant, he finished Chavez retired him.

Martinez will be just a name to be placed on Canelo resume to bump him into p4p#1 fighter of the world after he destroys Mayweather.

I think Geale. He's a former champ and Geale's been looking for the big money

            Like that.
But Martinez seems too old now to fully recover from injuries.

If they can get Barker to go there, they must have some series money. Wouldn't' mind it IMO. Rather that than Sturm. They need to hurry up and finalize it because if he fights Sturm and Sturm wins.... going back to Germany

in other words, sergio wants another home cooked robbery in argentina vs another stiff.

that's even lamer than him trying to fight cash cow welterweights.

The Ring is still rating Martinez as champion...

People forget that old Sergio obliterated Pavlik, Williams or Chavez Jr.

I still blame the doctors in Martinez' case...

                      Which "fluke win" was this?
