Did Bhop Hurt His Legacy by Not Going up to Heavyweight?

    Jones & Toney did it

Surely Bhop could pick up a Crusierweight title at least

With so much time in the sport, it seems a waste to have hung around 175 for so long

Sometimes I wish the Hopkins-Haye fight happened when he called him out.

This is true. Hopefully we'll see Pacquiao vs Wlad before Pac retires. /s

But so was Jones and Toney

Bhop was at least as special as Toney

Hagler was such a b*tch not moving up to fight Holmes.

He most certainly was not as special as Toney. Talentwise at least. not even close.

You have to realize that Toney was fat, out of shape and had just lost any will to train. Jones stepped up for one fight to fight one of the weakest "champions" in history and weighed 188 or something like that. That was a one time thing, he never campaigned at heavy.

It would have hurt his legacy if he was to grow a Toney like body and get knocked out by a heavyweight.
