Comments Thread For: Ishe Smith: I'll Send Carlos Molina Back To ESPN FNF!

BoxingScene.com recently caught up with IBF junior middleweight champion Ishe Smith who is just days away from his first title defense against Carlos Molina. The fight is part of the Floyd Mayweather versus Saul "Canelo" Alvarez televised pay-per-view undercard that takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The fight was originally scheduled to take place on July 19th but Smith suffered a cut in camp and had to postpone the fight. Smith, who is promoted by Mayweather Promotions, said that he was sad that he was unable to fight on that date but is happy to be part of such a big event.

Ishe Smith is 35 of age and he fought only two 12 rounders in his career... Nevertheless he's the IBF champ... This sport is sometimes funny.

And exactly how is that relevant? And yes, he cried like that, he had won his first world title after a real up and down career. Cant blame the guy.

It's relevant because he needs to do more than just beat bundrage before talking about sending anyone back to espn when he himself isn't far from being an espn fighter himself.

He can say whatever the hell he wants to say. He's a world champion and he earned it whether you like it or not. If you can speak your mind, he can do the same. Especially since you have accomplished nothing in a boxing ring.

Molina better dominate. TMT fighter? You know he's getting the benefit of the doubt on the cards, just like Love-Rosado.

Smith is talking tough for a guy of such limited ability. He narrowly beat Bundrage, who is quite limited himself, in a snoozer of a bout. Molina's a smart, crafty fighter. Too bad Ishe didn't have that belt to enjoy for very long, Carlos is taking it from him on Saturday.
