I think Molina deserved his shot after he dominated Kirkland but got DQ'd. They made him fight spinks which was bs. Its true he is hard to look good against. That is just his style and glad he is getting a title shot because this guy is a very good fighter.

Yes, Carlos is a good fighter in a tough division. He deserves a shot at a belt.

Molina has been in the ring with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Mike Alvarado, Erislandy Lara and James Kirkland. You can make an EXTREMELY good argument that he won all of those fights. That's what he's done to warrant this respect.

He's left more on the table more than any other boxer out. Fighters like him and Rosado cant get over the hump because they never go for it. They do just enough to survive and keep it close.
How does he not "go for it"? He's fought tougher competition than everybody at 154 and continues to get robbed over and over again. Not everybody has the power to knock guys out all the time.

The best boxers in the game are being blackballed because they don't fit into the business plans of the two big promoters and the **** is disgusting.

I don't know how you can pull against a guy like Carlos Molina. I respect Ishe too but a paper belt is a paper belt whether its a TMT fighter or not.

          Much respect forthis tread/post

But it doesn't matter he'll lose in the judges eyes like the other six fights he arguably won.

Every single fight has high robbery potential. It's put something of a damper on my enthusiasm for this PPV.

You could make an argument he won all those fights but you'd be wrong. Any fight close every person screams robbery. Bradley vs Pacquiao is a robbery. Molina gives away too many rounds by being inactive. Guys like him and Rosado make me want to puke.

for those commenting that Molina has been robbed in his losses its straight up bs. the only fight you can say he was robbed in was the kirkland fight and maybe the lara fight. he fought JCCjr twice in his 9th pro fight which was not televised which was a draw and his 10th pro which he lost. when he fought Alvarado it was his 12th fight and only Alvarado 16th fight. and to say he has fought better opponents then Smith is false also. smith has fought Alfonso Gomez, David Estrada, Randall Bailey, Sergio Mora, Joel Julio, Sechew Powell, Daniel Jacobs, Fernando Guerrero, Cornelius Bundrage to man a few. we've already seen Molina's best opponents.

ishe did absolutely nothing to deserve a title shot. he only got it because of floyd. and he only won it because k9 sucks. i'm really hoping molina wins this fight. funny for ishe to be talking about sending guys back to espn. thats exactly where he would be if it wasn't for floyd.
