The Hawk would murder Hatton.

He's a pressure fighter himself with huge chin and big power.

I'd say late TKO in a great fight.

I think Hatton would have too much, if he wasn't getting the better of Aaron toe-to-toe (I don't think anybody gets the better of Ricky toe-to-toe, but hey) then he'd use his boxing brain to make Aaron miss more than anybody ever made Aaron miss and use his quick feet to get in and out of range, flicking him with quick leads or little counters. Watch Hatton against 5ft7 Italian Welterweight Pascuale 'The Beast' Salmeri, about 90% of Salmeri's wins had come by stoppage and he was a terror in the Italian junior ranks and 1995 senior European finalist at just 17 years old (losing Sergiy Dzinziruk). Hatton went right at Salmeri because Paul Dunn told him that Salmeri had never been backed up.. but Hatton found himself 3-0 down after 30 seconds and wobbled, he composed himself and made Salmeri miss for the rest of the round while only throwing little jabs that tapped Salmeri's headgear but didn't score. Hatton won the next round 7-0 in my eyes and scored with atleast four or five clean counters in the third round, but the final score was something like 7-3 for Hatton - he'd been robbed of a wider score in Salmeri's backyard of Italy. Hatton moved in and out, frustrated this feared animal by making him miss and just waited for the right times to flick his counters on.

Hatton has so much boxing ability in reserve, believe me.

must admit juyjuy, hatton was awesome as a amateur it just the stamina that impresses me so much with hatton i don't think ive ever seen a fighter who can do what he does in every round up until 12, he could go for 20 rounds hes just that fit. It's just crazy how he does this after balooning weight, if i was a boxer i would be straight down the local pub like ricky after a fight! just can't wait for the future and what hold for hatton, just hoping he doesnt become a mandortary whore bring on castillo for the FOTY!

Pryor by KO. I don't see Hatton even hurting Pryor, this will be an easy fight in my opinion.

i think Pryor wins this one, i know he can get up off the canvas to knock a guy out, i don't know if hatton can, and if anybody could get hatton in trouble i would be pryor. the way he swarmed a guy when he was hurt was just like a shark that smelled blood

Aaron "The Hawk" Pryor beats the piss out of Hatton! Pryor was never intimidated by any fighter, ever!

this is a great match up but to fully assess these two in the ring together, it would be better to see how Hatton does in his next few fights to properly compare and debate on who would win, as of now it is Pryor by a landsilde......

Pryor could box as well as brawl. he was non stop, Hatton is similar to Pryor, but Pryor has more mobility and better skill, especially after Manny Steward got ahold of him. He was really polished when he was with Manny.

I have to say that both these guys are cut from the same fabric.

Pryor never slowed down and never gave anyone an inch to breathe in the ring.

more than likely if they were to fight, Pryor would have Hatton so cut up and bloody that they would stop the fight.

of all the fights that I have of Pryor I can't remember one when he had gotten cut. but then again I haven't been looking at cuts either.
