Aaron Pryor vs. Ricky Hatton

Back in the day some people on here were talking about Aaron Pryor vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr, but who would win if these two fought?

Pryor would win. He'd beat Hatton at his own game, while also mixing in some sweet science.

I don't know honestly. Pryor was a pretty small guy...I think Hatton has a size/strength advantage over him. Arguello was definitely smaller than Hatton.

Pryor is a buzzsaw though and he stands a good chance of defeating Hatton on pure psycho energy and will.

I say Pryor tko11 Hatton...on cuts. Hatton's face would be meat.

We need to see more of Hatton vs guys like Cotto and Castillo to really make a judgement.

It depends what Hatton does from now on. If he beats PBF, Cotto, Castillo, etc he'd be an all time great, but at the moment he is not the finished article and hasn't fought those fighters.

Most people here know that I love my homie, the Hawk. I may even be
guilty of giving him some Paul Bunyunesque qualities.
This is a fight that I would LOVE to see though. Two buzzsaws going at it!
Hard to call...Pryor was a tough S.O.B. but Hatton would be the bigger guy and nobody has shown that he can be beat yet.
I sure wouldn't put down money on this one....I would just relish it!

As far as Pryor vs Hatton. I don't see many people stopping Pryor... and until I see more of Hatton against world class opponents I'd be wrong to make a decisive decision... lean on Pryor though.

I think Hatton would have abit too much for him. But Pryor is a great fighter - number-two 140lber of all-time, only Kostya Tszyu is in front of him.

I'd say late TKO in a great fight.
