i clearly stated floyd had the cleaner work. oscar wasn't landing clean but if you throw a high volume of punches you often get rewarded for being the pressure fighter. this is especially true if the counter puncher isn't being very active. i said oscars volume carried some of the early rounds. i agree floyd took the jab away which is the reason oscar was reluctant to throw it late. the fact of the matter is oscar was winning the fight on the official judges scorecards through 8 rounds. if he had been able to keep that workrate up floyd would have a loss on his record right now.

oscar was throwing alot of ineffective punches but i can see how his volume might have swayed the judges early but i would give floyd the early rounds based on punches landed effective countering and ring generalship

hes gonna be swinging wide and wild, vs trout there were a few times he swung and WIDE OPEN for shots but trout isnt a crafty counter puncher floyd will have a field day with him if he swings like he did last fight
