It's a lost art in boxing nowadays.
even if alvared cuts off the ring. he still has to plant hit feet to swing. then he's wide open.

The blueprint to beat Floyd is to outwork him. Oscar the first 8 rounds of the fight had control of the fight by throwing so much more. Floyd did the cleaner work but the volume of ODLH carried many of the early rounds. Then ODLH gassed out and lost 3/4 of the last rounds. Canelo can combination punch but he also has the stamina issues late in the fight and will gas out at the end. Funny thing is one judge gave the fight to ODLH that night. If Canelo just replicates what Oscar did which is have control of the fight over the first 8 rounds, he could get the decision on CJ Ross & Craig Metcalfes cards. Floyd better win this as convincingly as possible to avoid a robbery. He's fighting GBP's golden goose. This is a big risk fight for Floyd's run even though I feel he wins this clearly.

Exactly. The trick isn't in developing a game-plan. The trick is in executing that game-plan.

Floyd doesn't stand in one spot to long for you to throw a combo

Canelo doesn't want to miss widely, gas and get hit with counters

Canelo needs to give as little as possible for Floyd to counter, fight at Floyds pace, low punch input and just bide his time

i clearly stated floyd had the cleaner work. oscar wasn't landing clean but if you throw a high volume of punches you often get rewarded for being the pressure fighter. this is especially true if the counter puncher isn't being very active. i said oscars volume carried some of the early rounds. i agree floyd took the jab away which is the reason oscar was reluctant to throw it late. the fact of the matter is oscar was winning the fight on the official judges scorecards through 8 rounds. if he had been able to keep that workrate up floyd would have a loss on his record right now.

canelo doesn't have near the stamina to swarm floyd for 12 rounds straight....canelo gasses by round 4 or 5 taking it easy and picking his shots...

santa cruz's strategy to beat floyd is the worst possible, taylor made for floyd to win

yea u can throw a **** ton of punches, but it doesn't mean anything if u can't land them

going to the body wouldn't do anything cuz floyd protects his body quite well with his philly shell

and ppl referring to old floyd fights where he ALMOST lost (almost doesn't cut it) is ****** cuz that was years ago, floyd today is a different fighter from the floyd yrs ago...floyd said it himself, there is no blueprint, cuz no ones done it, and ppl who have come close, well that was a long time ago, floyd hasn't been tested in a while

to be honest, i dont think anyone knows how to beat floyd, if anyone has any ideas i would love to hear them

The only person that knows how to beat Floyd is me. I know exactly how to give Floyd his first lost and I'm not giving the secret to anyone for any amount of money. When Floyd retires I'll make it known just how easy it could've been to beat Floyd 10 out of 12 rds. But you know what, I take that back. Pac was offered $40 mil to take the fight after lying about he would take less for the fans sake. Me, to hell with the fans. If people want to see Floyd lose cough up $80mil cash, 3 houses of my choice and 4 cars of my choice as well and I'll guarantee the knowledge I give you will win a fight against Floyd. Now you're own your own in the rematch, I don't think them oil rich Saudi's have the kind of money it would take for me to give that info up........ Skills pay the bills, but Oneon11 has the true secret to get a dedicated boxer a win against Floyd....
