Judah marked up Garcia, and Matthysse is a bigger fight than Judah who fought well against Garcia, yet was afraid to show up against Khan. The bottom line... forget everybody's past fights... this is now. Matthysse has been a warrior in camp on all accounts and stories we've heard. We don't hear much out of Garcia's camp, and his dad has a big mouth, and he's not said a peep. They took way too long to sign for this fight with Matthysse; not a good sign. Matthysse will have both guns blazing, he's bigger, stronger, and a whole lot hungrier... it won't go well for Garcia.

No matter how you want to slice it, Matthysse is in for a fight. He may win, he may lose, but what you said about Garcia is your opinion. He keeps on winning despite not doing any one thing great. Garcia does everything well.

Matthysse is going to win. I base my prediction on the agressiveness of mathysse and that he does not tire in the late rounds. yes, Garcia is not one to lose all stamina in the late rounds either, but I feel that Lucas is the stronger fighter coming in to 10, 11 and 12th rounds.

Garcia has a chance here, too. lets not forget his amateur pedigree. He is not only a ****er. he can dance and box if he wishes to.

Still, i've got Mathysse ending this fight in the 11th round of highly entertaining and bloody affair.

Garica is going to beat Matthysse and it will not be as competitive as most think. Garcia has excellent timing, is patient and doesn't fold under pressure. In order to beat a fighter like Matthysse you have be able to adjust in the ring. Matthysse is dangerous but his punch is his biggest asset going into this fight. He has some skills but always said Danny is the better of the two when it comes to timing and counter punching. Since day one I picked Danny Garcia and am sticking with my prediction of Garcia winning.

I just don't see Matthysse being fast enough and that left hook of Danny's will connect when Matthysse lunges in. Matthysse is going to try and muscle Garcia but it won't work. Take away a fighters power and he has to find other ways to win. If Danny can take Matthysse punch away then the fight will not be hard. If Matthysse wins then I will give him his full props like I always do fighters I pick wrong against but have a feeling Danny is going to shock a lot of naysayers.

Do you feel that Danny is a better fighter than Peterson?
I mean really?

yes, Danny kayo'd Khan, and Peterson went the distance.
I also know Peterson wasted Holt, and Danny struggled.

I saw that Lucas was robbed against Zab, and Danny struggled.

with that being said, Danny is not "Swift", not fast, doesn't have the greatest defense in the world, can can be hit. He's a great counter puncher.
Same with Mathyesse, slow, non defensive, and counterpunching skills are not as good Danny's but he's a hell of a puncher, and if he tags Garcia, it will be over, and over early because is such a slow starter!

I think Danny is a better fighter than Peterson because he is younger, fresher and is more Patient and smarter. Not as technical but he has more intangibles to grind out the W. Peterson is good but have to lean towards Garcia. I doubt Garcia will let Matthysse power throw him off. He's a tough Young guy mind you. He has youth on his side (5 years younger) in this fight along with a slight height Advantage. Matthysse has the reach but I don't see anything Matthysse does that is that much more superior to what Garcia does. Matthysse has power on his side and more than a Punchers Chance but he also has had fighters who survived his power so I'm giving Danny a shot to as well. Garica's timing and adjustability will be a factor in this fight. Garcia wins this.

Garcia's comments sound like a guy with nervous confidence, trying to talk himself into "I can do this, I can do this"... and yet not really buying it. And few others are either. This fight won't last long, not because of what happened to Lamont Peterson, but who Lucas Matthysse is, and how HE'S been preparing. Matthysse skipped the Promo-tour; he went to camp immediately, didn't miss a day of getting his head in the game, and let Garcia & Golden Boy go on tour. Garcia took too long to sign for this fight. As soon as the fight was proposed to Matthysse, he signed. Garcia wanted the payday, he didn't want the opponent, hence why it took him so long to sign for this fight. Garcia is in trouble, his dad knows he's in trouble, most importantly, Matthysse knows Garcia is in trouble. Garcia's going down in a bloody pile of mess.

WOW!!!.....the bully's psyche is under attack.....but just wait till fight night when young Swift slings him to the ground and rabbit punch his ass back if he try to get gully!!
