I'm pointing to the KO% because it proves his power is real, not contrived only because of the level of opposition.

When you realize that along with that power Wilder has a 4 inch height advantage and 8 inch reach advantage over an Arreola who has never been difficult to hit, it's hard to see how anyone would feel completely comfortable betting on an Arreola victory regardless of resume.

Yea he has power, nobody is doubting that... but it doesn't help that the only people he's KOing are 40 year old dudes, people who haven't fought in years or freaking janitors.

Lets be real, who has Wilder fought though? People keep saying the HW division is so bad, but are incredibly impressed by Wilder. I'm more than certain its the KOs. Which is cool, but we seen this movie already, just a bit smaller.

Someones getting KO'd. I'm just not going to overrate this win against a guy who looked like he had no business strapping on gloves let alone stepping into a boxing ring.

Arreola is riding a dangerous high off of this, when put into perspective, rather unimpressive victory. I think Arreola underestimates Wilder's power and comes in thinking repeat performance only to walk into a bomb of a right hand that drops him.

Let's say he recovers from that bomb. If Arreola is still there after eating a few hard shots early would you favor Wilder to win? None of his bouts have gone past four rounds....Wilder is still VERY untested.

Nobody was comfortable betting on Carlos, but he won. I'm just saying, why would anyone feel comfortable betting on Wilder when he has fought pretty much nobodies?

at this point, a slight edge has to go to Chris simply because hes been on the bigger stage, with better fighters. Could he lose? Yea, pretty easily. But you can't just look at Wilder and say he'd beat Arreola.

I agree. I just haven't seen enough to prove Wilder can box his way to a UD. That's not entirely his fault though. Because of the power and reach that he has, he's never had to do that.

So if he wins at all, I'm just betting that the KO trend continues.

No doubt Arreola has a good chance to KO Wilder, but because of various physical advantages I think Wilder has an even better chance to do the same to Arreola.

I don't think the fight goes to the judges.

I just haven't seen anything from Wilder but a right hand and put that more down to how useless his competition has been.

I can't even get a real take on his ability. What is his stamina like? People assume he can box because of an olympic bronze he simply got selected and won two fights, one being a gift, didn't he then get KTFO by some Russian?

Hes so untested its ridiculous & its worth noting hes been knocked down twice by absolute nobodies, once officially against Harold Sconiers wasn't it? & once against some tub of goo. Hell I recall a blown up middleweight carrying 100lbs of lard with two bad knees shaking him up!

Just to many question marks for me to say this guy beats Arreola who is a monsterous step up from a 40yr old, inactive Liakovich coming off back-to-back K.O losses to moderate punchers.

This is a no-bet fight if I've ever seen one.

We've seen Arreola take a knee from a Travis Walker punch.

We've also seen Wilder leave himself wide open after swinging those windmills.

Wilder either blows Arreola away before he can break a sweat or Arreola survives and counters the **** out of Wilder until his legs fall apart underneath him.

Next guy will probably get a shot at Stiverne or the WBC strap after Vitali leaves.
