Don't wanna sound hyperbolic, but Mitchell has one of the worst chin in the past 20 years.... absolutely no punch resistance.

In boxing you need to be able to take a couple of punches at least, Seth can't even handle that. He's done, stick a fork on the lad.

It's admirable that he made it so far with that chin. Tells you how talented he is. Most guys with chins that bad are cannon fodder for prospects on Friday Night Fights, at best.

Bad chin and not a lot of boxing knowledge or skill yet he is a top 10-15 hwt in the world. I think that shows how bad the division is. Seth had better leave boxing alone before he gets SEVERELY hurt.

At this point im actually afraid for him to fight wilder and you know I think Wilder is crap. If he hits seth like chris did we could see a tragedy.

Poor guy. No defense and he can't take a hard punch.

The guy was marketed right to make a few bucks. The game finally played out. One would hope!

Travis walker clone... He isn't as bad as everyone says. His weakness got exposed as the competition got better. He destroyed timur ibragimov & got witherspoon out in a couple. He beats all the C & C+ guys but when the fighters are above that level he has issues. Still can get fights & some good travel in like travis walker. So we know that mitchell's chin will keep him from winning a title but on any given night he has the offence & power to pull the odd upset...

Walker can at least get some rounds with a top 10 guy. And he's got enough power to make it exciting for some time.

Mitchell's power disappears as soon as you hit him with anything. He loses composure and stops throwing punches as soon as you hurt him. No ability to hold or hit back.

I don't think Mitchell can last more than 3 with any top 10 heavyweight right now (in this awful HW era, imagine that).

I think he'll stay in the game fighting where he should be, with C level guys.

Promoters, mangement and trainers should be ashamed for passing Seth Mitchell off as a viable heavyweight boxer. It should be easy to see that this young man has never learned to accept punches and be able to relax in the ring. He actually stiffens up as shots land and he has no idea how to deal with it at all.
Its not a case of just a weak chin, his chin I'd guess isn't that bad because he takes the shots whats troubling is that he's never been schooled how to deal with stress mentally! He's not KO'd he gets UP he is disoriented and weak legged!!!
Theres no way that this isn't visable in spar sessions and he must have faced the worst opponents EVER to build a record up. Its just embarrasing to see promoters and trainers and management actually get away with this promotion. I feel bad for young R. Mitchell whose been spoon fed to believe that he's a capable pro fighter!!!
This is a MAJOR problem in the sport, it shows how people in charge of a show don't give a damn about the product that the earn from.
Fans are slapped again with what should be a 6 round fighter learning thrown in with a 10 round fighter whose reinvented himself, hopefully! Disgrace!!!!!

Sorry bud, hopkins' main weapons are headbutts, holding, and faking injury. Nothing to boast about.
