This is exactly how guys get their brains scrambled. Burns cannot actually believe he is winning fights by getting smacked around like this. His delusion may be reinforced by such a bad decision and egged on by promoters regardless, he's in trouble. Burns will now get a chance to face someone much better than Beltran for a worse beating and short money after this poor performance. They are not doing him any favors and he just started stepping up.

he was able to outbox Beltran in the opening stanza.

Outbox? At no point! Let's just say he was more active in the first round.

Burns ended the fight on a high note, giving all he had in the closing rounds

Summoned up some wild adrenalin rush but still ate some good shots!

Masterful performance by Beltran all for nought. Way to encourage the average boxer and the fans.
