Totally agree I'm British and I like Burns, but I sat watching tonight, thinking in the 11th round that this has draw written all over it. I believe Burns lost by 2-3 round and if I was the referee he would have lost by at least 4... Not one warning for 30+holds and grabbing. Another disgraceful Uk card, Germany and England the number one place to go if you want to win a fight but, don't have enough room in your bag to take belt home with you.

That really isn't something we want, to be compared with Germany in terms of fixing results.

If only other nations knew that Brits just want to see a fair and entertaining fight, we do not give a sh́te if the fighters been undefeated for 100 fights or if he's had 100 losses we want an entertaining fight with the correct result!

Haha don't make a fool of yourself, who cares where the judges are from ..... it's the principle of judging in UK. You get backhanders, and pressure of future work in the country. The British referees are the worlds most useless I've ever seen, Terry O'connor and Dave paris and that other guy. Ian john lewis all bad judges /referees

It's refreshing to hear a fellow British fight fan talk sense! I've been saying this for years!! I mean look at the cleverly fight, at the end of round 3 the ref grabbed clev and stopped the fight but because the bell came 2 secs after he walked him to his corner! I MEAN, WHAT THE FÚCK!! IT DRIVES ME NUTS!!!

yeah Burns would get props for fighting with a ****ed jaw, but for Beltran to travel home without that strap is beyond cruel. We Brits love Froch cause he goes to war win or lose.

That it was beltrans falt for not KO'ing Burns! Which is when Johnny Nelson did what I never thought he had the balls to do which is talk the truth. So I give Johnny his props and hope that he continues this trend.

Exactly, in the post fight interview they were trying to make it appear as if the injury manifested itself! I mean Beltran did that and if Burns had done that to an opponent they'd be talking about Burns' punching power! But Noooo they kept saying " deary me how did he manage to fight on with that" sounded like my nan!!

This fight made me remember what happen in the fight between Burgos-Martinez. Both bouts were for WBO titles and the referee and Judges managed to get a "draw" in favor of the loser and some idiots can say it was "fair" because there was not an effective Knock out agaisnt the so called "champ" (who was also local favorite). I guess the judges may try to justify themselves by ignoring all the body shots but in realitty they know that they scored wrongly (whether it was by being inept of corrupt is unkniown). In the case of Burgos the WBO has not ordered a due rematch and it may happen that WBO could do the same in Beltran's case.
