Quillin fights cab drivers once a year. Seriously how is his level of competition better? He beat a bum in Fernando Guerrero. Winky Wright who lost his 2 previous fights , was 40 years old and was retired for 2 years at the time. And a list of clowns before that, his biggest name before winky was prob jesse brinkley. His best win was against N'Jikam, who has no chin and still won every round he wasn't knocked down in.. Also a little fact about N'Jikam, he was the WBA champ before he was the WBO champ. He never lost before Quillin so how did he lose the title? He VACATED because he REFUSED to fight his mandatory GENNADY GOLOVKIN
GG has been fighting bums and jmw's. The fans are tired of seeing that garbage. Solid and stay busy won't cut it anymore. He's 31. Time to face the best or move up to smw.

NSB thinks GGG's an ATG. I'm over it at this point. I thought I would never see a fan base as radical as the Pacquiao crazies(no offense to actual Manny fans) but GGG has truly garnered some idiots who think he's not only unstoppable, but he's also one of the biggest draws in the sport and his resume is stacked. It's disgusting. I like the guy, but his fans really ruin it for me. Anyway, I would love to see him matchup with Quillen, it would be a great fight and a test for the both of them.

I don't think GGG or Quillin have an advantage over the other in regards to opposition. They both have fought their fare share of above average opponents. The difference that stands out between them is that while GGG has looked like very impressive and seems to have the tools of becoming a superstar, Quillin has overall, looked decent but nothing special or out of the ordinary.

Now I don't believe that both are at star level yet, but GGG is gaining more attention, has look more dominant against equal quality opposition and seems to be going in fast track for stardom. 1.1 million views in his last fight are very good numbers.

Plus, GGG has HBO, and HBO is putting money behind him. Showtime is trying to compete but they are still not in HBO's level when it comes to developing superstars. By next year we'll be hearing big things for GGG while Quillin will still be fighting in undercards.

Tell me Schaffer, when did Quillin headline a card and pull 1.1M viewers?

I love how he put Berto and Quillin together in the same sentence. Complete frauds.

Eff the numbers. GG has not faced a legitimate threat yet. Viewers are watching him ko bum after bum and naturally smaller guys, and you guys soak this ish up like he's a God of War. When is he going to step up? Let me guess. He's being ducked.

I know its a black thing with you Ducketts when it comes to hating on GGG and loving Quillin, so I probably should know better then wasting my time.

the bias and dislike of GGG from some people who call themselves boxing fans is strange. I can't think of any legit reason (other than U KNOW WHAT ones) as to why people could possibly dislike this guy. He fights really often, he knocks guys out, he's not some arrogant d*ck, he destroys Macklin ... a guy who gave Martinez a real tough battle and do the haters give credit ... no they simply discredit macklin ... a good fighter and call him a bum. GGG has an awesome amateur record and anybody who knows anything about boxing can tell simply by watching him fight that the guy is very talented.
