Simple one guy was 2 pounds under the weight limit 30 days before the fight (Smaller man) And the other was about 14 pounds over and will probably rehydrate no less than 166-167 probably more.

But simple if you are going to be a punk and cry about the weight. Then don't watch the fight and keep crying if you already have excuses. Cry baby ass

This could be a horrible night for boxing. Let's say lucas knocks out Danny in 5 measley rounds. And this bs 152 pound catch weight drains Canelo so bad that he looks shot, has even ****tier stamina and gets embarrassed by Floyd. 2 million ppl will have tuned in to see 1 of greatest PPV's ever and gotten terrible results. Lucas by ko in 5 isn't exactly terrible but we all expect a great fight but a big punch from Matthysse can dead all of that. And if the weight is indeed a factor and Canelo looks like a walking zombie, we could be in for some more bashing of our sport by the casuals and detractors who say boxing is dead and a joke.

canelo's body looks so malnourished. you can compare him with the kids from ethiopia dying due to lack of nourishment.

even malignaggi can knockout a weight drained jmw with a body like canelo.

He would beat Lucas too! But Danny will get the job done first. I like Lucas I just hate punk ass internet trolls like you!

The stamina thing isn't blown out of proportion. Do you even watch Canelo's fights? Trout, Mosley, Gomez, Baldomir are all fights were Canelo has clearly showed fatigue. He even showed fatigue on media day.. He still came out victorious due to the opposition, but we all know that Floyd has the most stamina in the business.
I DO watch Canelo's fights, in fact lol. The only fight I've seem him FATIGUED was against Trout. I've seen him get tired, but never fatigued. Fatigue is absolute exhaustion, in which I believe he was against Trout. I think you're using the wrong word.

LOL at people talking about 'he looks fine...he looks healthy...etc.' well he's STILL 157 in that pic, duh. Let's wait til day before fight weigh-in and tell me then if he'll still 'look fine and healthy'

Man, these people could be telling reporters whatever they want to tell them. We aren't in the training camp with either guy, he could be able to get down to 153 or so already with ease for all we know. I've seen dudes look like skeletor (looking a hell of a lot worse than Canelo does in that pic) and come in the next day looking like a completely different animal.

I thought Matthysse looked like shiet before the Peterson fight, he looked drained as a mofo but he came into that ring looking like a beast. Same exact thing with Kovalev against Cleverly - he looked like a POW victim at the weighin but in the ring, he beasted up on dude man like the terminator.
