Canelo is only 5.4 pounds over the contract weight with 7 days to go until the weigh in. He just needs to dry out a bit and skip breakfast and he will be on weight if those weights are correct. Hell, Mayweather is over 152 pounds as well. Better lay off the coke and fried chicken, Floyd.
Well, they have to be at or under the 7 day limit mate. They can't just come in at any weight.

Because he's 5 pounds over 7 days out? That's actually very good. Better than most fighters these days. It means he's not just on point to making 152, but doing it pretty easy and healthily. The fact he also moved up from 147 and has had about ten or so fights from 150-154, averaging about 152 pounds across those ten fights also suggests that he's got plenty of business there still.

So do we really have to do this? Do we really have to play dumb? Did Canelo come into the ring of his last fight at 172 pounds, yes or no?

How in the world did Mayweather weigh less on fight night than on the 7 day weigh-in, makes no sense?

So he actually lost 2.5 pounds between the 7-day weigh-in and fight night? Didn't he eat or drink any water or was he trying to trim down before stepping into the ring... lol.

It's not that surprising. Going into the 7 day weigh in he was coming off training so his muscle weight was up. Going into the weigh in and with training being cut, his muscle weightdecreased . This would matter to most fighters because their body fat increases as well but since Floyd isn't a jmw and since he didn't have any body fat to gain, he lost weight instead.
