I'm going against the grain on this one. I'm picking Ricky Burns to retain. I believe he his smart enough to learn from his previous fights. I could be wrong but even though they say they're ready for war, I think he will be a bit more strategic. He's not going to ****. He's going to stay on the outside and win on points.
Impress another day.
Picking the favorite is not really going against the grain...
I've not seen Beltran fight before, can somebody tell me what he's like?
One of the toughest SOBs you will see. Mostly a pressure fighter but he can do some boxing. And on the inside you can see he got a lot of tricks up his sleeves.

Can he punch?
I know he has a decent amount of KO's. But I am just wondering if it is worth going for an outside bet.
Burns has never been stopped and has a great chin but it might be worth a cheeky bet.

He's got good power and he can wear you down but I don't think he got the power to stop Burns. He'll probably get his respect but I doubt he stops him.
I'd be very impressed if he stopped Burns. But Beltran IS working with Memo now so you never know...
Beltran is a live dog. I'm not sure if he'll get a fair shake on the cards if its close, but Beltran is a real fighter and that's the risk real fighters take. He's also a better overall fighter than Katsidis, Moses, Mitchell, and Gonzalez IMO.
