i respect EM, but i also cant accept excuses, pac proved his so called excuse in their last fight was legit, EM is a future HOF but saying taht pac beat him because he's old etc is disrespectful

The bottom line is - Manny Pacqiao stopped Erik Morales in the tenth round. There is no denying this.

Weight Drain - Morales said he struggled to make 130, which MAY have contributed to losing his legs. But I know for a fact it was the strategy formulated by Roach, and executed by Pacquiao that destroyed Morales' body, and took his legs from him..

Erik said before the fight that he is 100% percent fit and ready to fight Pac, no mention of his struggle to make weight. In fact, I think he started to train for this fight much earlier than Pac.

Too many wars: I think this is a contributing factor. Morales is only 29 years old, should be the prime of his career, or just past it. But - over the years, Morales has been fighting since he was 16 (?), and has had over 50 fights - and anyone who has followed his career knows, the vast majority of which have been wars. Morales takes his Mexican pride into the ring with him, and probably takes more shots than he dishes out. Emmanuel Steward constantly emphasised throughout the fight, "Morales' wars are catching up with him". He fights war after war after war, within 4-5 months of each other.

What's the difference with Pac? He started boxing a year younger than Erik and has only a few fights less, and only a couple of years younger? I don't believe Morales is washed up, maybe he looked washed up after this fight because of Manny, but in no way can this be considered a factor before it.
