Money had fairly beaten everyone he has stepped in the ring with. Deal with it

The first time I watched the fight, I felt that Floyd had edged out the win against Oscar, but I didn't score it or anything (too busy drinking cold beers, and being interrupted by people wanting to talk during the rounds instead of in-between!) When I re-watched it a couple of days later, I had it 116-112 for Floyd. Maybe you could score it 115-113 if you were feeling generous to Oscar, but no way did De la Hoya win that fight.

Floyd has clearly beaten everybody he's been in the ring with. I've watched the first Castillo fight many times, and yes, I do think that Castillo deserved to win and that Floyd got lucky to come away with the decision that night, but props to him for giving Castillo the rematch right away and clearing things up.

Couldn't give Oscar 7 rounds...it was certainly a competitive fight though...idk what Floyd was doing in there at times, seemed like he kinda had an off night, Oscar's jab and activity I'm sure had something to do with it but still...

The Cotto fight reminded me of it...

Lucky you man. Certain circumstances didn't allow me to watch it live.

The first Castillo fight was debatable and I can understand why many felt Floyd lost. Floyd shut down any question as to who was the better fighter in the rematch for certain.

Thought Floyd easily won the first 6 rounds of the first Castillo fight. So at best Castillo deserved a draw. I don't think Jose won the last 6. He win four or five of those 6 but not all imo. Close fight but Floyd won. The rematch cleared things up as well.

Watching that fight live I felt Floyd Won. 6 years later I now hear folks saying oscar won. Anyway I have that fight 8 rounds to 4. I think the fact that we expect him to win every minute of each fight is crazy.

I also always hear zab won the first 4 rounds against floyd then he gassed out, again I watched the first 4 rounds and scored them 2-2. After that he won every round.

I'm always hearing Shane won the first two rounds and then gassed out..lol.. Floyd won the first round, Completley lost the first 2 mins of the second, but had took control of the round the last minute but still lost the round. After that he won every round.

Now I have watched the first castillo fight and definitely feel that floyd either lost or got an draw. The fight was very close very close. I'm certainly glad he gave him a direct rematch. Going back and watching alot of these fights you can hear how he wouldn't have any love for the HBO commentary crew. They **** on him thru out the fight but gave him credit with a "I thought he would lose or give a great performance..

Thats awesome, so you finally to it upon yourself to rescore a fight that took place over 5yrs ago... Good job mate.. Now with those new scores go ahead and contact the 3 judges of that fight and tell them where they went wrong. Your knowledge is a huge asset to not only us fans but to the sport..

I didn't watch it in person or anything like that, just on TV with a house full of people. Most were boxing fans, but others were just there to party and kept bugging when I was trying to watch the damn fight! LOL

Yeah, I think that the first Castillo fight just stands out with people because it's the ONLY one where we can look back on and say maybe Floyd could've lost that one. Sometimes I wonder if maybe Floyd himself thought afterwards that he didn't do enough to really win (although he would never admit it), and that's why he went for the rematch right away. Like I said before though, props to him for doing so and making it clear that he could beat Castillo without any debate.

Watched Dela Hoya vs Mayweather last night because I hadn't watched it in a while and scored the fight 8-4 mayweather but it wasn't really close 7 rounds clearly for Mayweather ( 1,5,6,8,9,10,11) 2 for Oscar( 2,7) and 3 could have gone either way( 3,4,12). Anyone who says Oscar won is in denial and cant score.

I think that's the reason He still hates Floyd. Because he degraded him as a man made him look like a straight up punk in 24/7 And during the press conferance and then picked him apart in the ring and gave him the worst psychological beating of his career.
