It's both Vegas and Texas. If it were the other way around, and Floyd were the champ coming in, he would've gotten 117-111, 118-112 scores.

The first Castillo fight was debatable and I can understand why many felt Floyd lost. Floyd shut down any question as to who was the better fighter in the rematch for certain.
No he didn't. It was a horribly uneventful fight that could've been a draw. Both Floyd and JLC stunk out the joint in the rematch.

Anyone who says Oscar won is in denial and cant score.

I think that's the reason He still hates Floyd. Because he degraded him as a man made him look like a straight up punk in 24/7 And during the press conferance and then picked him apart in the ring and gave him the worst psychological beating of his career.
        good point!

Mayweather looked a little scared against DLH. He could have been scared of his power or he was a little overwhelmed by the event, he also looked slow in that fight which might have been the weight.

I scored it to De La Hoya the first time I watched it, but it was a pretty biased score-card. When I re-watched it with a level head, I had it 8-4 Mayweather, the same score I've given every time I've watched it since then.

The Cotto, Mosley and Judah fights were all also clear wins for Mayweather. Cotto made Mayweather fight all the way 'till the end, and landed some good shots, but I had that pretty wide as well. Mosley only really did anything in the second round, and Judah only fought on even terms with Mayweather for 4 rounds. The myth that Judah dominated those rounds is pretty common now, but from what I remember it wasn't as if Judah clearly won all four of those rounds.

As for the first Castillo fight, only scored it once or twice. I had it very slightly in Mayweathers favour. If I remember correctly, it as JLC giving away too many early rounds that lost it for him on my card. Haven't watched it in a long time though, so can't comment with much certainty.

The whole "Oscar beat Floyd" thing happened because morons who started watching the sport in 2009 saw a SD on BoxRec. Almost everyone at the fight party I had for May-DLH wanted Oscar to win, but at the end everyone had Mayweather winning. I'm convinced people who say "Oscar won" or even that it was a draw have never watched the fight.

Watching the fight again I noticed that Oscar took away Floyd's springing left hook. Floyd looked very cautious and I do feel he waited for Oscar to tire out and that really never happened to the extent he was looking for. The variable was that floyd didn't have a lot of pop at that time fighting at 154 plus the gloves were selected by Oscar. Instead of selecting gloves reyes gloves that are punchers gloves, Oscar selected the more padded gloves for floyd.

but it becomes truth for the new people..then you hear even Canelo say, DeLa Hoya won. I'm a homer when it comes to Mayweather, but I also don't want to sound ******ed just blindly following a fighter, so I always have to go back and watch to be sure I'm not lying to my self..

Odlh and Judah fights were clear wins for Floyd. The first Castillo fight I had it a draw. The fight was really close and it depends in what you like in a fighter.

                    Accuracy or pressure

I had it a draw. I don't get why so many haters act like this fight was a walk in the park for Floyd. It was way closer than the Castillo Floyd 1 fight.
