The "Castillo blueprint" is something like this: make Floyd injure one of his shoulders very early into the fight.

Maybe Canelo should study the Mayweather blue print. He can develop a shoulder roll, split second timing, and superior ring generalship & IQ. The bottom line is, if the 2013 version of Canelo is better than the 2013 version of Mayweather then he should get a victory. If not, he still he's a young man and a current/future superstar so he'll bounce back well.

The Cotto fight might show Canelo something, after Cotto was destroyed by Pacquiao, Mayweather struggled to win a decision. Too bad Canelo doesn't have enough to take advantage of it though.

Canelo is bigger and younger than Cotto and thats it. He has no where that off beat jab that trouble Floyd. Cotto was hitting Jr a lot to the body when he lingered on the ropes.

If Floyd keeps the fight in the middle of the ring more than likely he is going to school canelo

So according to you mayweather is going to go toe to toe with Canelo like he did with Cotto? Jeez people are morons if they think the Cotto fight is any kind of blueprint.

What Floyd said was true to an extent. Stamina and work rate will dictate this match-up.

Its very interesting to see this fight, cos, both are undefeated. If Canelo can land those solid blows to the body, then, will see what will gonna happen.

Studying a fight where that fighter lost is a dumb blueprint cause it obvious it didn't work to win the fight

Cotto had some success against Floyd, but made a lot of mistakes as well, hence losing. I dont buy into this whole blueprint nonsense, Canelo should just do his own thing Focus on how he can negate the things Floyd does well and try to capitalise on his rare mistakes and see if he can, through his approach, force Floyd into making some new errors.

I've always thought that intelligent, but relentless pressure is the best way you can beat floyd. Canelo at this stage in career hasnt shown either the stamina or the brains to carry that off. Floyd knows he could be in a fight here, so I am actually going to predict that Floyd is going to give the performance of his life and win this at a canter, probably by stoppage after the 8th.

It was only a matter of time before someone made this about Floyd vs Pacquiao.

Like most people who watched the fight, I felt it was as clear a decision as you can hope for. Sure, Floyd allowed the fight to go toe to toe, which he doesn't normally do, which may have given people such as yourself a false perception, but to say he struggled to win a decision is laughable.

Just goes to show how on another level Floyd is, that when he wins a clear decision that's not a 12-round shut-out for once, people start building it up into something completely different.

Another poster on this forum described Floyd vs Cotto as a life or death battle! Why, because he actually got punched in the face for once? FFS.....
