he did bro...look how different he was after that against guerrero.

cotto didn't even have to cut the ring a lot because floyd stood his ground most of the time. floyd will never do that again.

floyd sr already said it...if he was in the corner, he would've not let floyd fought cotto like he did.

If Mattyssee is so great at cutting off the ring why did he let Judah and Alexander off the hook? Cause he isnt that great at cutting off the ring. Peterson has decent lateral movement but he was wild when swinging, when they were flat footed and exchanging is when he did damage. Alexander had him looking like a wild man....Judah who was past prime outmanuvered him easy.

But then a again Judah was one of few fighters that were faster than Money so there is no chance that Canelo can imitate his performance.
        You gave Zab 6 rounds?

Floyd didnt choose to fight Cotto that way, Cotto forced him into that fight.

How the hell is Canelo better than Cotto and he only has one win over a top ten opponent?

Cotto was a real top guy at 147 for years and won a trinket at 140. Has beaten a slew of good fighters. He May not be in his prime but had he fought Canelo instead of Trout who was too lengthy, big, for Cotto, I think Cotto would have won.

Cotto is a FAAAAAR more proven than Canelo who won his title fighting a guy who wasnt in ranked in the weight class, for a vacant title....damn that sounds familiar.

I like Cotto a lot but the only thing he can learn from that fight is how to look competitive in a shut out.

Not sure how to embed but Dwyer explains this really well and why Canelo vs Floyd is a different tactical fight all together. If someone could embed this I'd appreciate it.

I refuse to believe he took unneccessary punishment for the fans' entertainment. It's never bothered him to win going away and not be exciting. He obviously still had the legs to do it, Cotto wouldn't let him.
