Former WBO and Ring Magazine super bantamweight champion and 2012 “Fighter of the Year” Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire wants to return to the ring against three division world champion Vic Darchinyan on November 9 in Corpus Christi, Texas and re-establish his name.
Donaire told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard that his priority right now is to regain his status as a top class fighter and added, “ I want to come back and establish my name and that’s all I’m thinking of right now.”
Donaire said “I’m getting ready and will train hard and not let anything disrupt his preparation” for the rematch with Darchinyan from whom he won the IBF/IBO flyweight titles with a stunning 5th round knockout on July 7, 2007. [Click Here To Read More]
