I did fear a Whitaker/De La Hoya situation where all remotely close rounds will go Canelo's way but I'm sure Floyd knows what he's up against.

I wouldn't be surprised at this. Since the Floyd/Pac fight will probably never happen GBP is banking on a Canelo win (or a VERY close fight) for a lucrative rematch somewhere down the road. I almost guarantee that they fight again before Floyd's 6 fight contract is up.

True dat. I also see a PAC fight being a possibility somewhere near the tail end of Mayweather's contract. That is unless Rios somehow gets lucky.

Floyd will win with no problem. However, if Alvarez wins four rounds legitimately, I would say that Floyd's skills have deteriorated significantly and he should retire immediately.

Even though this is a fight people want to see I still say Canelo should have fought Cotto instead of Trout. Cotto was robbed in the Trout fight solely because he would have KO'd the kid & this fight would have never happen. People have the Oscar attitude when it come to Floyd. As Oscar said, Floyd is a thorn in his side and people that dislike Floyd has that same thorn. But to be honest, I could've sworn B-Hop hammered that thorn in Oscar's sid with that kidney punch that had him rolling around in the ring like a little *****.........
