It is in light of his pathetic weaseling on the Canelo CW. I mean, look at the thread we're in.

But he only had 1 other CW-the JMM fight- and he came down in weight after almost 2 years off. So this post doesn't make much sense.

OK but there is a difference. With one guy you know if he wins the CW belt, he ****s or gets off the pot. The other one has serious implication, like if you wanna be The Man at 154, you'll have to prove it at 152 or who knows how low the Champ needs you to go.

I don't agree Cotto was dead at the weight, I got a pair of eyes and a working brain. But I agree there's a chance 2lbs could affect a fighter, which is what Floyd and Pac were banking on. But going up in weight to your 7th division is one thing, a divisional champ in his 5th shouldn't need such a handicap unless he's a lesser champ.

Did Manny do that? He defended said ww title won at 145 and defended at 147 and then defended at 143 with JMM. So what you posted isn't excatly true.
