Kind of sad that people are actually debating this. To start, Guerrero and Margarito fight nothing alike.
What did Margarito do better than Guerrero?

Guerrero went years also without being defeated but that doesnt matter to you.Martinez went undefeated until the very close loss to PWill many years later. Talent is talent, and while I'm not a Martinez fan, I recognize his excellent talent.
The Cintron SM thing was under the nonsense catchall. I've said many times that Sergio got robbed both on the cards and with the KO, but looked like **** in a terrible fight. Especially after the "headbutt", lost most of those rounds.
If you watched the fight you know it wasnt a head butt so nice try. Go watch fight before you comment on itComment

It is a fair debate especially when you consider what most people say about both guys~
They do fight much differently though I certainly wouldn't subscribe to the Guerrero is a better version of Margarito both have their strength and weaknesses a few are the same but there is plenty to differentiate them.Comment

So how many full titles has Guerrero held in the 135, 140, and 147 division? None. Hell, a win over a prime Cintron is eons above a win over a welterweight Guerrero.
Including Cintron is a lot like including Guerrero on anyone's resume with the exception that Cintron was a tall, hard hitting 147 pounder with a legitimate win over a prime strong 154 Angulo and actually held a full title at the weight. Guerrero has never even held a full title at welterweight.Last edited by BafanaBafana; 09-03-2013, 03:38 PM.Comment

Did you just say prime Cintron?
You seriously think a statement like that is changing any boxing heads mind. C'mon man
Where is the gif of Chris Carter with a wife beater on saying C'mon man~ when I need itComment

Yes but Guerrero went all those years without the quality wins that Martinez had. For example, only "real" (but papery) belts at 126 and 130, nothing above.
Hey dumba$$, how obvious can I make it to you:
1. I'm saying he got robbed of a legit KO, hence no headbutt
2. I put "headbutt" in quotesComment

Did you just say welterweight Guerrero?! GTFOH Works both ways, actually probably just w/Guerrero.
Cintron was a true welterweight contender, held a full title at welterweight, was tall and heavy-handed, and decisively beat a prime Angulo at 154. What has Guerrero done?Comment

Damn you are reaching my friend. Everyone and their mother has a title now. Hell i bet i ask my grandpa hell pull out a WBO version of a belt. But ok ill give you the fact he held more championships in this division.
You do know he held belts under 135 right...oh but that doesnt matter to youComment

They fight far too differently to even bother with the question. We're talking two completely different fighters. There's so many things Margarito did better than Guerrero, and vice-versa.It is a fair debate especially when you consider what most people say about both guys~

you are barking up the wrong tree troll I could care less about this pactruds vs floomos crap and anybody who thinks Margs is ATG is a moron. Floyd could of fought Margs but he didn't and if you think it would be a 50-50 with Robert then you don't know crap about boxingLast edited by solo20; 09-03-2013, 03:43 PM.Comment
