I have been skeptical about the Mayweather vs Alvarez fight for the last two and a half weeks due to many of the comments coming from Oscar and then seeing the betting habits drastically changing this past week. I said it on here I would not be surprised to see Floyd get robbed on the scorecards. I'm not saying it'll make it to the cards or won't but the way Oscar and others have been "Guaranteeing" a Canelo win makes me a bit paranoid. Local bookie had 14-1 odds favoring Mayweather a month ago..Wednesday they changed to 3-1..the last time I saw a swing like this it led to a robbery. I'm really hoping this fight isn't tainted by some outrageous shhhh but it just has that air to it imho right now and it's Oscar/Schaeffer we are talking about where i'm convinced they'd throw their mom's to alligators to hit 2 million buys on a ppv. I had a convo last night on XBL about this and someone pointed out "They can keep pairing up Canelo vs nobodies and still do numbers. Mayweather is borderline 37 and the end of the line is approaching. It's possible they are trying to phase him out like they did Oscar to keep a younger biggest star of the sport in their stable". At this point i'm hoping for a fair fight regardless of the result..can you imagine if they screwed Floyd on the cards...shhh would hit the fan in every way imaginable.

So, you telling me Mike Tyson had at least half the abilities Mayweather has, defensive wise? In order to catch Mayweather leaning, you can't be hit by that straight right. When you receive punches flush like he does with that straight right, you loss your notion of where your opponent is. Canelo may try it, but he won't succeed, just because of the lack of reaction speed Canelo has with his defense, he won't catch Mayweather clean with a counter left hook. Zab Judah has been the quickest boxer that Floyd has ever face, and he couldn't even hit Floyd after 3 rounds, and I think Canelo will lose speed and balance after Floyd makes him miss. Do you think that every boxer that Floyd beats, don't practice that move on their training camps after watching "the obvious move" on video? Of course. The problem is when they're on the ring, one on one...

nope im telling you about a 42-1 favorite who absolutely no one thought was going to lose that night, who had an invicibility more stronger then mayweather got beat in this great sport we call boxing...sure there are few that believe in canelo, and iam one of them, but most on here absolutely believe mayweather is unbeatable.my point is anything can happen and will happen in boxing.and tyson had better skills in hiz undefeated prime, and ko power something mayweather has never had unless he sucker punches you..

On fight nite canelo will tip the scales at approximately 170 plus pounds. While floyd will tip the scales at 152. So who really has the wt advantage?

Everyone that fought floyd has the perfect plan to beat him until they get into the ring with floyd. Then its a whole different story they say floyds so tough and hits harder than you think or he is so hard to hit or his defense is otherwordly. You can say he just pot shots and run. But then how sorry are the other boxers if they cannot beat a one hit n run boxer?

Such a lame post. Floyds ko rate is about 60%. So where do you get he has no ko power? In boxing every fighter that move to higher wt classes lost speed and power. Well all except pac who moved up in class and got stronger and faster. And turned down 50 million dollars. Because he was afraid of ost. But in the real world boxers lose power when they move up.
