Timothy Bradley picks Danny Garcia over Lucas Matthysse

I was thinking the same thing. Bradley has more insight and credibility on this topic than anybody posting on this site.Comment

Lucas cant box. Bradley would out box him anyday of the week and he sensed that when they spared.Comment

I'm not saying that he'll win as I think Lucas will...but just saying Garcia has a very good chance too.Comment

Bradley can sometimes get his predictions wrong. Like this one here:
boxingscene.com/bradley-peterson-best-140-beats-matthysse--62843
(note: I wasn`t able to put the link even though it`s to an article on this site, so you`ll have to put the missing bit in yourselves or search it on Google).
Also, Bradley thinks that he beat Manny Pacquiao and that Ruslan Provodnikov beats everyone at 140 to 147.
Maybe what Bradley says should be treated with a little bit of scepticism.Last edited by mrspecial321; 09-02-2013, 02:02 PM.Comment

Thanks for posting. Isn't it possible that while Matthysse landed some good shot Tim totally outboxed him and because of that believes Garcia win? Tim seems like a nice guy who wouldn't publicly tear apart a sparring partner. With his personality I don't seem him going on a radio show and saying "yeah he hits hard, but dang he was too easy to hit. Garcia's gunna box circles around him". Having said all that I'm still riding with Matthysse but respect the opinion of the champ.Comment

Well, also, if you listen to the interview, The interviewer poses the question to Bradley like "yeah yeah but do you still favor Garcia? You ain't changing your mind are you"? I can't remember the exact words, but it sounded as if Bradley initially picked Garcia, and the interviewer just kind of pressured him to either stand his ground on the earlier pick or change his mind. Bradley was fairly hesitant.
I would take this wiwth a grain of salt. Joel Diaz has seen what Matthysse can do to Bradley and apparently thinks that's enough tovp pick Lucas by KO.
Its whatever.

it will be garcia's chin vs matthysse's defence
it will be who breaks through first
im still favoring matthysse due to his better skills and think he will wear danny down before danny can land a punch to end it, which is what he'll need, might still get a kd on lucas, but if he recovers lucas continues to wreck himComment

in case nobody has mentioned it, Tim shook hands with Lucas after their first sparring session and told him he's beating Garcia
Tim flip flops on a lot of ****, he did it with Floyd versus mannyComment
