Damn shame that Arum seems determined to shelve him.

Caribe Promotions is obviously trying whatever they can to raise Rigo's stock, while ol' Bob publicly disses his own fighter.

I grew up in hialeah and I can honestly say that Cubans do know who Rigo is! Cubans follow Olympic sports and Rigo winning two gold medals has made him an icon!! The guy has been considered the best in Cuba for quite some time now not to mention the local news in Miami talks about him especially when he defeated Donaire....so yea a lot of people do know who he is down here

He must be aware of this and he and his team must do something.

i was there on saturday and i was surprised that willie chirino introduced rigo to his fans , it was great to see so many cubans in this casino . nice exoposure for my man , great promotion . we are lots of thousands of cubans here in miami , if there is a nice card ,lots of would show up . but the promoters have to invst in boxing in south florida , having more than 1 millions cubans in here , a big market to work on . go rigo . hit and not get hit.

casamayor won a gold medal as well, and he was never a draw. he was also bigger, younger, and more exciting to the casual fan.
