It would be nice if Martinez would love to fight bad ass middleweights like GGG and Quillin instead of Cotto who pays well but who is a smaller 154 pounder who lost his last two fights and has never defeated a middleweight. To me GGG is the real middleweight champ because he will fight any middleweight with the courage to face him and I think he beats them all. Cotto is a good brave fighter but he has done nothing to earn a fighter for the middleweight world title. GGG has fought some easy guys but only because the higher ranked guys won't fight him.

All of those guys gained stature from better than expected performances vs Martinez. They didn't bring a lot coming in. Agree Martinez' comp looks better in hindsight, but it was still weak for a top 5 (or 3?) p4per.
